Originally from Okemos, Michigan, Dr. Ashlynn Mazurek developed a passion for dentistry early on. She was inspired by her father and two older siblings, who are also in the dental profession. Her journey to becoming a skilled orthodontist is defined by her dedication to excellence and genuine care for her patients.
She brings a passion for creating beautiful smiles and a commitment to exceptional patient care to our practice and family. Dr. Mazurek believes in building strong relationships with her patients, ensuring that everyone feels comfortable and well-informed throughout their treatment. She is excited to welcome you to our practice and help you achieve a beautiful, confident smile.
Step One: College
Dr. Ashlynn escaped the cold Michigan winters for four years and attended High Point University in North Carolina. In addition to her academic achievements, she was an accomplished athlete on the Division I Track and Field team, where she specialized in running hurdles.Â
Step Two: Dental School
Following her undergraduate studies, Dr. Ashlynn was accepted into the University of Michigan School of Dentistry. Graduating at the top of her class, she earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree. When she wasn’t in the library studying, you could find Dr. Ashlynn attending various sporting events, including football games in the Big House – Go Blue!Â
Step Three: Orthodontic Residency
With a clear vision to specialize in orthodontics, Dr. Ashlynn pursued an orthodontic residency at the University of Louisville School of Dentistry. She obtained both a certificate in orthodontics and a Master of Science in Dentistry (MS). Upon completion of the residency, Dr. Ashlynn became a certified orthodontist, ready to transform smiles and improve dental health.
Outside of the Office
Outside of her professional pursuits, Dr. Ashlynn enjoys hiking and skiing the beautiful mountains of Colorado, exploring new restaurants with her husband Cody, and spending time with family and friends.Â
