Dr. Nichole Schiro was born and raised in Okemos, Michigan, where her father, an oral surgeon, inspired her passion for dentistry at a young age. That passion grew into a love for orthodontics—helping kids, teens, and adults feel confident in their smiles.
After more than a decade of advanced training and experience, Dr. Nichole has built her career around combining clinical excellence with a warm, family-friendly approach that makes both kids and parents feel at ease.
A Scholar & Athlete
Dr. Nichole earned her undergraduate degree at Loyola University in Baltimore, where she played Division I soccer and was honored as an Academic All-American. Balancing athletics and academics taught her discipline, teamwork, and time management—skills she now brings to her orthodontic practice every day.
Advanced Dental Training
She went on to complete her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) at the University of North Carolina, graduating at the top of her class and joining the prestigious Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society. At UNC, she treated her first Invisalign® patients and discovered her passion for orthodontics.
Her training continued at the University of Louisville, where she earned a Certificate in Orthodontics and a Master of Science in Dentistry. She is also a Board-Certified Orthodontist, an achievement that reflects her commitment to the highest level of care.
Life Outside the Office
Dr. Nichole lives in Littleton with her husband Mitch, their daughter, and their golden retriever, Culper—the beloved “office mascot” who brings smiles to patients of all ages. As a mom, she understands what it’s like to juggle school schedules, sports, and family activities, and she strives to make orthodontic visits as smooth and enjoyable as possible.
When she’s not perfecting smiles, Dr. Nichole loves spending quality time with her family—making memories on family getaways, exploring new experiences together, and enjoying plenty of time outdoors. She also enjoys skiing, hiking, biking, running, and discovering new restaurants around Colorado.
